Windows XP: Optimal Partition Size?

I was wondering if there is any literature on an optimal partition size for Windows XP. Or does it make no difference the size of the partition?
 
It really doesn't make a difference. However I would recommend something at least 10GB or larger as it will grow when you install new programs and patches.
 
Mine is 10 gigs. Most of my programs are installed on a seperate partition so the windows partition won't grow too fast.
