Windows XP on an Intel iMac

Is it possible to completely erase the hard disk on an Intel iMac and just install Windows XP? I don't want to have to worry about dual booting, as this absolutely must pass the non-computer savvy "wife test."

See, I want to buy a nice, slim, all-in-one machine for her and she has absolutely no interest in learning OS X, so don't try to convince me to try it. 🙂

Thanks.

Yes, you'll just have to use it to update to the latest firmware if it isn't already on there and burn the driver CD.

Then, you can nuke it.
