Windows XP on an Intel iMac

Is it possible to completely erase the hard disk on an Intel iMac and just install Windows XP? I don't want to have to worry about dual booting, as this absolutely must pass the non-computer savvy "wife test."

See, I want to buy a nice, slim, all-in-one machine for her and she has absolutely no interest in learning OS X, so don't try to convince me to try it.

Yes, you'll just have to use it to update to the latest firmware if it isn't already on there and burn the driver CD.

Then, you can nuke it.
