Windows XP now successfully running on a Mac.

Wow... a skin!!!

That is just an XP skin as others have said. XP does however run very well under Mac OS X when using Virtual PC. It is really cool because you can switch between different versions of windows and the Mac OS without ever having to restart. It can be very usefull to run XP, Me and 95 all on the same machine at the same time.

Uh yeah, it's a joke.

Don't take it so seriously.

<< 50% of an operating system + running on 50% of a PC=I wouldn't give a quarter for it. >>

Hmmm... I guess you don't realize that the machine is actually running Unix (Darwin). I haven't heard too many people call Unix 50% of an operating system. 😛 The GUI is OS X, with an XP theme.

You can run Virtual PC on a PC too. As for OS X Virtual PC, I've run 95, 98, and 2000. 95 is useless. 98 is painfully slow, and 2000 is very slow. I'm only running a G3 600 mind you but still I'm told that on a fast G4 it's still damn slow. OS 9 is much better for this (but I hate OS 9 in general otherwise).

I still wonder how people can use XP without heavily modifing the look. Luna is just plain fugly! Yuck!

Right now I have a skin called "Whistler Flat". Definately the best I've seen. (Screenshot)

If anyone wants to see "OSXP" click here (I don't use this skin though, I don't like it)

<< anyone else see the lack of goodness here? >>

Yeah, why mess up the great look of OS X with an inferior replacement?! Next people will want to run it on antiquated hardware like the x86 architecture! 😉
