Windows xp nor 2000 will work in this computer?

Hi,

I am building a new computer for my mom and I burned a copy of my Windows xp disc to install it in her computer, but the computer just goes into a blank screen and just doesn't do anything. I have tried burning a copy of windows 2000 pro for her, but that doesn't work either do you know why this is happening?

to actually try to answer your question, probably because the bios is not told to boot to the cdrom before the hard drive, or because the disc was not finalized when it was burned.


it would be "reeks" anyway, as opposed to "wreak" vengeance.
