Windows XP? - Multiple Drivers

I've been tasked to set up a printer/copier which utilizes "user codes" to track usage data. Each user has a PC but there is a single workstation (not a print server, the copier is networked with a fiery) that all the agents use... however, the user codes are managed by the device driver at the time of install and I cannot seem to find a way to configure Windows XP (edit: XP Pro) to allow each user account a seperate driver. Do I need to be using a different OS on this machine, or is it possible to configure XP to work in this way?

I've checked the Microsoft Knowledge Base and even tried using google/yahoo/etc with different querys and so far no luck.

Any advice would be welcome at this point.

-Thanks in advance!

I dont think it can be dont per-user account; however you could setup differant hardware profiles to use differant drivers.

The real way to accomplish what you are trying to do is to make use of a print server.

I'd just call Fiery and see what they say, as I have to believe what you describe is a common useage scenario, and I've got to believe they'll have a ready answer for you.

Thanks guys, my boss doesn't want to dish out the cash for another PC, even a small one- which was why I was trying to set it up without a printserver. I did send an email to the manufacturer, no response.

I really appreciate your replies.
