I am curious on the Mimium Memory requirements regarding Windows XP Pro. It says on the Microsoft Site that the mim memory is 128MB and a 300Mhz PC. What does this mean exaclty is that just to run Windows XP with no programs. How do you exceed this under normal operation. This is the problem.
I have someone running a Pentium 400Mhz PC with 128 MB or ram. The computer is RDCing (Remote Desktop Connection) into a new server that is then running an application onto that RDC session on the old computer. It runs well most of the time. However this old computer gets error every once and a while. And sometimes we have to restart this computer or log out and log in. There I notice are errors with the program that is being run through the RDC client on the old computer. So My first guess is replace the old computer because this computer is immaged the same way as all the Penium 4s. The computer is old and a lot of the memory addressing/processor instruction sets are old even when upgrading the memory etc.... Note we don't get these issues with all of our new computers (pentium 4s)
