Windows XP Media Center Edition

Unless you buy a new PC, you aren't going to be buying this puppy. It's going to be OEM-only (yeah, wa4r3z m0nK33z will have it), because they want to make sure that the hardware and software play nice and they don't have to support a zillion home users whose rigs can't handle it.

I wish they would make this available to end users somehow. I'm itching to replace my DVD/Stereo/VCR/Nintento pile under the TV with an all-in-one system that can function as a PVR/DVD/Jukebox/Gaming computer, and this sounds like the ideal OS. I figure I can pull together a nice rig for under $600 to do all this, while the press I've seen says the hardware partners will be charging $1000-$2000 for their systems.
