I have a file server running MCE, it is networked and shares recorded shows with my PC as well as my xbox 360. It seems that I often get skips and some blockiness, like the bandwidth is being saturated or the strem is getting interrupted.

I am using this
antenna (not both this and antenna are links, one to amazon, the other to a picture of the antenna). I do have it split with a 2Ghz splitter feeding 2 tuners. MCE says I have full strength on the channels I am recording from. I also have the pc, file server and 360 wired using cat5e and a linksys router. I am not sure if my problem is in the original input stream or via the network? I am guessing it is form the original stream, but I have full signal strength, so how can I help it in any way?

Anything else to consider?

Okay, so I just started watching greys anatomy(for some reason i recorded it in SD and HD)The HD stream was really bad from the start, it even said no TV signal and would then start over at the beginning. But I also saw a box pop up in the top right corner that said network congested. The SD recording seems okay right now. SO again i don't really know what the problem is. It could still be a problem with the HD input stream, or it could be the network. Just that the SD doesn't congest the network as much as the HD. But a single hd stream shouldn't congest 100MB network should it?

I have my Recorded TV folder shared so my roommate can watch my recorded shows on his computer. He was having problems playing HD content (choppy playback, stalling etc) but once I flashed my cheap netgear router with the latest firmware the problem went away.
