Windows XP Media Center 2005

I'm trying to set up Windows Media Center to play dvds in 5.1 sound but the NVIDIA DVD Decoder won't let me enable a center channel.

The thing is messing with my head. When I do the test in the nvmixer, I get sound out of the center channel, the sub and the two rear channels. When I do the windows media center sound test I get sound from the two front channels the center channel and the subwoofer. When I play an mp3, I get sound from the two front channels, the two rear channels and the subwoofer. It's a DFI nForce3 board and I'm hooking it up to a receiver. Anyone have a clue?
