Because of a series of unfortunate circumstances, I was given a Microsoft OEM Component Kit for a Windows XP Media Center 2005 PC.

Included in the kit are:

AMD Athlon 64 3000
Asus K8N motherboard
eVGA GeForce FX 5700LE
512 MB DDR400 memory
200 GB Western Digital Caviar Serial ATA drive
Samsung TS-H552 16x DVD Dual Layer burner
Hauppauge WinTV PVR 250MCE TV/FM radio PCI card
Windows XP Media Center 2005 OS, with remote

Now, I'm considering a case suitable for my home media center.

I'm looking at an AHANIX D4 case. See a sample at Newegg.

Has anyone had any issues with this box?

Be forewarned that using a any ATX MB other than a Micro board allows only
4 of 5 bays to be used (3 if you tuck all the wires out of the way).

Also the PSU is under-powered and NOISY (i.e. NOT Silent as advertised).
Quieting the noise level requires dampening material, thus raising the case temp.

Not really worth the money.
