Windows XP Langauge switching?

Hi everyone. I am located in the US 🙂 but im taking a spanish class. Is there an easy way that i can type spanish letters? Like the upside down "?" and the accents over certain letters? I know i can go to character map and type alt + key sequence but of course thats a pain to do when your trying to type fast. I have tried to mess around with switching the langauge in windows xp without much luck. Do i need to get a spanish keyboard or something? Any help would be appreciated.

I've just memorized them all, it's really not that many 😛 (except for accents on capital letters, but AFAIK they're not required on capital letters anyway)
