Everytime i start my computer it would run check disk as i get into windows.

It check the D:\ which is my secondary hard drive.

I don't know how to make it stop. There's nothing wrong with the drive since i use it every day.

Do you happen to have an HP scanner hooked up to the PC?

Are you using FAT32 or NTFS?

If no scanner and running NTFS, you can try the following.

From a COMMAND Prompt type chkntfs /D
Check Disk will run, but not on reboot.

Use "msconfig" to see if it is in the startup programs and remove it if it is.
