When I try to install windows xp professional on my computer after it copies over the needed files it reboots to install the rest of windows and it'll loop back to the beginning. Any ideas on what i could do?
 
Are you pressing the key again to start the Windows install after the first reboot? You shouldn't, if you are. 😛

Oh, and it should be HDD-0
 
I'm having the same problem. 🙁 No matter what boot sequence is set, it does that. I'm wondering if the SATA controller in the motherboard might be at fault??? The thing is, I can't be the first person to install Windows on an A8N-SLI system with a SATA drive, but there's nothing on the Web.
