I have tried to intall Windows XP twice now but it keeps assigning my installation drive partition to F and makes my zip drive C. Is this the XP default assignments or what? This is a proplem when I go to install and run program, becasue they seem to expect C to be one of the disk drives.

Just format and install windows with a floppy, one hard drive, and one cdrom. Don't have anything else hooked up.

I had the same thing happen... and No.. you can't change the drive letter assignment of the boot drive.. I tried that and it said... NO!

I had to reinstall with the zip drive unhooked.. then hooked it up after..

pretty retarded actually.

I like XP.. but it needs some polish and refinement for sure.
