Windows XP Install

Ok, the key for my Windows XP came with the first XP Pro installation. I now have a cd with SP2 already on there. Am I able to install XP using the SP2 disc even though my key came with an earlier cd?

Thanks.

You can use either of the keys so long as they are the same versions and are legit.

I am curious. Why didn't you simply install sp2 or slipstream it into your older WinXP source files?

Am I right in asuming that you wasted the money on buying a new installation cd?

I knew about slipstreaming, I've just never done it, so I'm not so sure how to.

A friend burned me a cd with SP2 on it, I didn't buy a new one. It just saves me the 15 minute download. Thanks!
