im not sure what the problem is, but as the topic says, i did a clean install of windows xp and the bsod happens so fast right after the windows xp screen, i cant read the error code.

ive tried swapping out psu's, memory, removed all things connected to the board; and im stuck.

any ideas? my last idea is to try swapping out ide cables, but just curious if anyone else knew what was up. thanks.

Is your internet connection disconnected?

It doesn't take very long for junk to invade your system if your connected as you're installing.

another strange thing:

the board (epox nf2 micro atx) detects my pqi pc3200 as ddr333. could the board be bad? thanks

What voltages have you got for the RAM,

Can you try resetting the CMOS.

What psu have you got?
