Windows XP Home VS Professional

Just need some expert opinions from people who have experience with both systems.

I am building a new system

Soyo Dragon +
512M PC2100 DDR Kingston Ram
AMD XP 2000+
WD 120GB JB SE 8MB Cache IDE Hard Drive
SB AUDIGY GAMER Sound Card
VISIONTEK XTASY GEFORCE4 TI4400 128MB DDR AGP


I have a Super Fast Cable modem

I bascailly use my Pc for 3d Gaming, etc..., Internet, Downloading large movies, files etc..., FTP site downloading/uploading etc... I have no need for video conferencing, etc...

In your professinal opinion, is Windows XP Home edition good enough for me? or should I get the Professional or corporate edition???

I wouldn't bother with Plus for XP. Its way overpriced for what it gives you (stuff that should have been in the OS to begin with). I don't think I know of anyone who absolutly needs Plus for XP.
