Windows XP Home Upgrade

I'm currently running a Compaq PC that came installed with Windows Me, that I upgraded to XP Home Edition a few years ago. I'm getting the parts for a new pc this week and I want to know if it's possible to use my upgrade disc to do a clean install on my new hard drive. Thanks for your helpp

Yes, but during the installation you do have to 'Show' that you have the
previous upgrade from disc, like Me or 98.

It should if it has the standard CAB files and is not some proprietary image. I know the latest compaq restore disks work.
