hello
Thank you for all your input.
The OS is going to be for home useage. So I am wondering if the pro is worth paying the extra money.
Also, what are some of the extra features u get with the PRO?
Lastly, is the OEM package going to let me install it on 2 computers?

Thank You all

"Registration" doesn't matter at all.
For the XP OS to function past the 30 day (or whatever length it is), after install, it must be Activated.
Sorry Captain Kidd[/L], you need two OS if you want to run either XP Home or Pro on two machines. :p

XP Pro and XP Home are the SAME OS. XP Pro is not faster, or more stable, or more reliable, they are the SAME. Except for the following few extra.. XP Pro has the ability to join a network domain, good if your in a corporate environment.. XP Pro has encrypting file system. XP Pro has the ability to connect to the box remotely via Remote Desktop. XP Pro has security policy editor, allowing you to change some advanced security settings like saying who and who cant shutdown the computer. And XP Pro has advanced file sharing security settings.

Microsoft sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll never buy 2 copies, forget about it. I'll take the alternative way, if you know what I mean.

Thanks a lot
