I just ordered Windows xp home OEM for 80 bucks.. i chose home because its cheaper than pro and im really on a tight budget. Can someone please tell me whats the difference and should i cancel the order and get PRO instead for $130? I am really hesitant on spending more money though. Help!

I've got XP Pro...& just installed home for my mother..
I don't see any diference in program (Software) installation/removal...
but I'm not on a network & I don't remote access yet...and looking at the chart...I'd say those are the
deciding points...
I actually liked home better... the check disk readout tells you weather or not it found / corrected errors...

Remote access is a nice feature that included with Pro, however there are better & faster method for remote. As a home user and an occassional remote access need, VNC or tightVNC will do the job just fine and the price is right (free). And, then there is Linux & Unix that can be had for free if you need to have a more robust networking features.
