Windows XP Home Edition

I can't open my Users command in control panel.

I can't fast switch between users (Windows Key + L) it goes to a computer locked screen instead of the Windows logon screen.

I can't change my computer to install all software instead of ones only installed under passing Windows XP testing.

Please help, I wanna fix this crap.

Fascinating. 🙂 Uh, you got current firewall, patching and antivirus protection on there? How about try Safe Mode?

You can hopefully log in as the Owner and look for reasons that this has occurred. Try Control Panel > Performance & Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy (I assume WinXP Home has LSP?) and look through the settings to see if something tampered with the settings. For example, the item to control installing un-digitally-signed software is at the bottom of the Security Options list IIRC.

That's just a guess, though. I don't know what would cause that issue 😕 Maybe one of the higher-wattage bulbs around here will have a better answer.
