Ok, I have seen these Windows XP licences being sold over the Pricewatch, much cheaper than a regular version of Windows XP Home..
So, what exactly I can do with this COA sticker?
Does it means that I have a licence to install Windows XP Home on a single computer?
And does it give me a right to burn a "backup" Windows XP CD for my potentional customer (combined with this COA licence of course)?

I may not be in agreement with some people, but I do NOT think that simply having a sticker in your posession proves you "own" one licensed version of the software... You'd have to read the EULA to find out for sure, but I would imagine you would have to be able to prove you did in fact purchase that license and are the legitimate owner.

Thank you...
Something like a reciept (proof of purchase) and credit card charge should be enough right?
Like I said, you can get these COA stickers for $57.00 off the Pricewatch, versus $100.00 for the boxed Windows...That is a huge saving.
The kicker with the COA sticker is that you don't ge the CD..
So can you buy a single copy of an OEM XP Home, and start duplicating this disk, while giving your customers a COA sticker, which would make legal for them to install the duplicated CD...
Right?
Edit: So the COA sticker alone does not give me the licence to install the Windows XP

They may very well be legit, if you have the OEM disk from another source, these licenses maybe OK. It would be worth a phone call or 2 to make sure if you're worried about it. If you provide the COA and "Recovery Solutions Media" made from "another form of media"?

Recovery Solutions Media.
A Recovery Solution is a way to restore your computer's operating system, should it fail. Failure is extremely rare on modern PCs. Your PC manufacturer should provide a means of recovering your genuine Microsoft Windows operating system. This may include an Edge-to-Edge hologram CD or another form of media.

Feel free to call licensing at 800-426-9400. Any company selling a stand-alone COA is doing so illegally. They'll confirm that for you. :)

The COA is only provided (legally) with the OEM pack that is distributed from one of our authorized distribution centers. These centers distribute only to companies who plan to build and re-sell OEM systems (for the most part, some of them may have actual sales divisions that build systems as well).
