I created a user account using the Computer Management snap-in (right click My Computer > Manage). However, that user account is not showing up in the windows Welcome screen on boot up. I search Microsoft's support site and KB article 297221 says it's because the user account is disabled, which is not true. I have a lot of settings stored with this user account and I don't want to have to use the User Accounts control panel just to add a user name to the Welcome screen. Can anyone help?
