Windows XP help please

When I installed Windows XP I only had the admin account. When I created another user name it set that one as a admin account as well. So when the computer was restarted my original admin account that I had begun with disappeared from the login screen and the new account remained.

How do I login with my old admin account? All my documents are now locked and inaccessible.

Log off.
From the log on screen press ctrl-alt-delete
username = administrator
password = "whatever password you entered for the account"
go to control panel -> users
select your account
change type from limited to computer administrator
log off
log back in under your account

should be fixed :)

Oh, I didn't read your post well enough. while logged on as administrator, open windows explorer. Go to documents and settings -> administrator. Copy the files you want. paste under documents and settings -> your user account name.
