Windows XP goes nuts with IDE Zip drive..

Hi, i'm using an Intel D865GBF with a fresh copy of Windows XP Pro SP1 and everytime I plug in a Zip drive, the machine goes crazy. Sometimes it just sits at the boot screen or if it gets into Windows it crashes and restarts. I've swapped processors and zip drives to the same thing. I doubt its the board or memory, any ideas? Thanks

Is it an iomega drive? You have to update the software for it.
