Windows XP Froze On Installation!!

Is this bad?? Do I just turn off my computer?? Then retry??

When did it freeze?

it froze during installation when it said 34 minutes until comlpete installation

Ran into the exact same thing many times. Didn't bother to discover why but doing the install with a plain vanilla pci vga video card cured it in every time.

Test your memory with Memtest

Make sure your IDE connections and cables are good.
