If I plug in a bytecc external usb 2.0 enclosure with maxtor 160gb hd into my new motherboard, it makes my XP freeze, or the computer will not boot up into XP. This never happened on the motherboard it is replacing which is made by intel which found the drive right away.

I tried installing the setup files/drivers for the bytecc enclosure but it still does the same thing.

Trying to find help on the asus website is kinda cumbersome and of no help.
