I'm running a Windows XP command prompt to execute a FIND command. I'm trying to search for a string in some files. Anytime a subfolder is encountered, I get an ACCESS DENIED message. If I move to any of those subfolders, the FIND will run OK.
The user I am using is an Administrator user.
It just seems weird that I can run the program in the folder itself, but not when its a subfolder. Because there are many subfolders in my search, I need this to work without the error message.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
If there are any 3rd party utilities which will do the job, I'll try that also.
