windows xp embedded

I ran into a itx board with a xp emdebbed sticker on the hd (coa)

anyone using this?
is it as good as xp for a media center build? (I order the cd from M$ and hope to use the coa to see ) was just wondering if anyone has hands on exp..

I dont know that the MCE components are available for embedded, it's a componentized version of XP designed mostly for integrated installs (i.e. Kiosks, POS, etc.)

XP embedded is a lightweight version of xp for basic device functionality, its not a version you interact with or use (e.g. usually no shell, only drivers for the device, etc). Think of it as an even more stripped Barts PE.

im guessing I cant even use it to make a mame box?
