Windows XP detecting HD as removable.

I know that this is not a terrible problem and windows will not let me stop this drive but it is a little annoying. I do I get windows to stop detecting my HD as removable. Thanks

It's an SATA drive? As I recall, you can't make those "not-removable" as the spec was designed for hot-swapping. Someone will correct me, I'm sure, if I'm wrong. 🙂

I am running a sata drive on my other computer and it doesnt detect it a removable. Any suggestions as to how I can dissable it.

You don't disable it. You can hide the tray icon, or if you have the nForce drivers choose 'no' when it prompts you to install the NVIDIA SW IDE driver.
