HAHAHAHAHA, I was Watching the X-files here and just 2 minutes ago I seen the WindowsXP comercial.... If you ask me, it was poorly done... It didn't make me wanna buy it... It had people flying over cubicals and stuff mixing music... LOL It's pretty funny actually, it's a good 45 seconds long too!

I wonder why they suddenly feel they need to advertise; surely they aren't feeling any kind of financial pressure? Perhaps they think that people wont see any reason to upgrade to this new operating system.

I saw it on Friday when I was watching the Jay Leno. I liked how everyone was flying around a stuff. I guess those people are the ones who designed the interface, mmm? High as a kite they are!

Btw, anyone seen the new Gamecube commercial? Funny stuff! They had people in cubes doing stuff.

We must get the same ads here in Australia as you get in America..... I saw the Windows XP ad last night for the first time. It did not make me rush out and buy it!

We also have the Intel P4 ad with the Aliens in it... Hmmm, they mention all this stuff ( like surf the internet, surround sound etc...) that you can still do perfectly well with a Athlon! I wish AMD would make ads too! 😉

Yeah we did get an AMD Athlon ad here in Australia, in Melbourne just around the corner from the Casino there was a huge billboard with an ad with a gay looking guy's face on it and the motto "The need for speed" and written underneath "AMD Athlon processor"

It was up there about a year ago

I seen it on Saturday night, I live in the UK so I guess the advertising campaign is worldwide.

Didn't think the add was too bad (considering who its aimed at). I thought it was very Apple like, for iMacs or something until it got to the end and WindowsXp appeared.
