Windows XP boot CD...? getting BSOD and need a bootcd.

I'm stuck in Hawaii and I need my laptop for work.. and I got an unmountable_boot_volume, which means I need to run the CHKDSK program.

Unfortunately I don't bring my setup cd with me everywhere.

Where can I find a copy of a program that will create a bootable cd?

Barts PE boot disk might be able to help you.

i'm in a very similar situation...

trying going here and downloading the windows setup floppy disks (hope you have a floppy drive because I don't know if you can make a boot cd out of them):

once u boot from the first disk, press "R" to get into the recovery console and then run chkdsk
