I was goin to attept to dual boot these two OS's but a friend of mine told me that u have to have Windows 98 installed first...the dilemma is that Windows XP professional is on there...so that would put 98 second. If theres a way to do this please let me know...if i cant do it will 2000 work like this?

you can do it but you need a program like partition magic 7.0 to make it simple.

also i read that it is possible but difficult to do without partition magic but can't remember where i read it,but even they recomended partition magic 7.0 as they said it was so much simpler

i dual booted 3 computers 98 and xp pro all three and it is much simpler to create 2 partitions on 1 hard drive format both then load win 98 on d: and xp on c:(my drives on older computers wont span 2 drive letters in 98) then when you reboot it automaticly lets you choose witch os you want to load

hope this helps
