Windows XP and Creative Nomad Jukebox 6GB

I'm trying to get a nomad 6GB to work under Windows XP. I've tried Player version 3 with the patch for XP and I've tried Notmad and get the same problem. Both say my player is not connected even though it is plugged into USB and turned on. Funny thing is when I plug it in I get that funny bong noise and it recognizes it as a Nomad:Q! Then it ask to install software but says it's an old version. Anyway very frustrated and would appreciate any help🙂!

OK, damned if I know anybody will ever read this but on the off chance they do I'll answer my own question. When I bought the Nomad I didn't get a driver Cd so just downloaded Player 3 and Notmad off the net. Well that was all well and good but since I didn't have the actual CD I did not install the stand alone Nomad Jukebox USB driver available from Creative. After a bunch of reading I realized that's what I hadta do. Works great now🙂! Ain't computers great
