Windows XP and 2000 Network

I have searched this forum for a hour, but didn't find any thing like what happened with my LAN so here goes the question/problem.

I have 4 PC/Laptops linked on SMC DSL Router. 3 Windows 2000, 1 newly installed Windows XP Pro. The 3 Win 2000 can browse/ping other Win 2000 boxes with no problem.

Win XP laptop CAN access the other PCs' shared folders by IP address ONLY, not by their computer names. It can ping all the other 3 Win 2000 boxes as well.

Now the problem: All the 3 Win 2000 boxes can NOT ping or browse the Win XP laptop, either by computer name or IP address.

I have checked the following:
ALL on same IP subnet
Router being the DHCP
XP box has all the local accounts (with same passwd) of the users on the other 3 Win 2000 boxes.

WHat should I do?
