I have a coperate notebook that was setup to log into a domain. I can also log into windows this way without having any network connection to the coperate network. I think my user was setup as an admin on that domain. In order to share files I went to the computer name tab in the system configuration. And changed it from domain to workgroup and typed in my local workgroup name. Then rebooted and was able to log into my local workgroup. Problem was that now my local user is now setup as a non admin and I can no longer change the network setting to log back into the domain. When i try to reboot my notebook, it no longer gives me the option to choose which network to logon. What can I do to setup my notebook to be able log back into the coperate domain.

Try going to a command prompt, or just go to run and type 'control userpasswords2'. Then click on your username, go properties and change it to an administrator. Try that and let us know how you go
