Windows XP Activation Problem...URGENT!!

I recently was having some trouble with my computer and decided to use msconfig and run in diagnostic mode....BIG MISTAKE!! Now my XP version says I have not activated and that I only have two days!! I keep trying to launch the WIN XP Activation Program, but it shows those little white x boxes like when you to a web page and the picture is not really there, you know what I mean?? Well in any case I can't activate my copy....any ideas would surely be apreaciated, but please hurry with them seeing as I only have about a day and a half left.
 
I recommend making a Ghost image of your hard drive to either CDs or another drive, then do a fresh install on a freshly reformatted drive to give yourself another 30 days. Then what you can't reinstall, you can migrate over from the Ghost image.
Or
You can call the Microsoft help line (425-635-3311) and relay your "Installation ID" in exchange for a 42-digit "confirmation ID."
Personally, I like the reformat, reinstall way to go, because everyone wishes they did something different the first time they installed XP.
