Anytime when i start up windows xp 64, it tries to auto-logon even when I have a password set. I set the local computer policy for interactive logoin do not require cntrl alt delete to disable. Windows xp 64 will even by pass that and still try to log on. But it can't since my password is enter. Is some hidden option enable that forcing windows xp 64 to auto logon?

this started happening when I made an updated winxp 64 cd using nlite and doing a fresh reinstall of windows xp 64 with that updated cd.

same exact thing happened to me, did you by chance integrate service pack 2 also? i did and got the same thing but i had the password stuff all disabled. i never use passwords.

i didnt intergrate sp2 into windows xp 64. I dont think sp2 is out for it yet. Even when I log out of windows, to return to login screen. Windows XP 64 will try to relogin automatically.

Well I fixed that auto login problem. I downloaded tweakui for xp64. Went to the user section. Saw that auto login was enable, and so I disable it. I must of accidently checked marked auto login in nlite when I was filling in the user information.
