Last update was 02/12/08, therefore this list is outdated and does not contain all the security updates available to windows!

This includes updates for Windows XP SP2 only,

Windows Installer (update this first)

.NET Framework 2.0 (optional)

Internet Explorer 7 (Optional)

Windows Media Player 11 (Optional)

Flash Player Removal

Latest DirectX update
The following can be downloaded and installed offline.

[*]Instructions on how to install all of them at once with no reboot

Wow! We've seriously needed a thread like this for a long time. Thanks very much, Schadenfroh!!🙂

This is only useful if you are doing a new image of the Windows installation CD (such as with nLite). Otherwise it is pointless because you will most likely have to reboot after every install of a patch. Windows Update will roll it all into one for you. I think it was 87 or so with my last Windows XP SP2 install.

Some folks have seen the Internet Explorer Check Box

Interesting, how widespread is this?

I installed KB943485 this morning. It immediately rendered my windows unbootable with error "LSASRV.DLL is not a valid windows image".

Last known good config cleared it on one of my machines, other I had to repair my installation. Looking into why this has happened but only thing I know of is that it's characteristic of Sasser. Ran tests for it but didn't find it on either machine pre-update or after repair/restore.

Just a head's up, still trying to find out why this happened.

Tried again with a fresh install of XP and SP2. Same results. "LSASRV.DLL is not a valid windows image" error.

Guess I'm just going to have to skip this update until others encounter the same error or I can find a problem source.

Also noticed at the same time that the other 1/8/08 update (KB941644) refuses to install straight from the MS update site. I have to download it and install it in safe mode to get it to work. Strange.
