At our church we have a small private grade school / high school (200+ enrolment) and Bible College (100+ enrolment). Our computer lab consists of 12 computers. I've been discussing the possiblities of replacing the Lab computers and setting up all other PCs on Windows XP Pro or Windows 2000 depending on their hardware config. By my calculations we would need the following OSes
1 - Windows 2003 Server
15-20 - Windows XP Professional
10-15 - Windows 2000 Pro.
This could total up to be quite a large expense if purchased separately. Does Microsoft offer a Educational institution discount on such a package? We may be opting for a Linux alternative if not.
