Windows Word- spell checker stuck in Spanish??

Just bought a new retail Windows Office XP Professional and when I try to use spell checker in Word, it reverts to Spanish. I can change the Language setting to English (US) and after checking a few words it will revert back to Spanish.

I wish to spell check my entire document when completed and it will not stay in English. After a few words it will automatically change to Spanish. What I'd like to do is just delete the Spanish dictionary and see what happens. Anyone know exactly where I can find the dictionary?
