windows won't load

I reformated my computer so i could install raid 0. Actually i took it in to geek spuad to get it fixed because when i tried to install the raid driver it wouldn't load up the disc. Now i got my computer back and installed all the latest drivers, avg, aquamark, cpu-z, etc...

And as you know you have to restart when you download some of the drivers, so i did whenever asked. But for some reason after i was up to downloading aquamark 3 and restarted after i installed it my computer on the boot up menu showed the words
"error loading operating system.

I don't know what the problem is, and actually i'm pretty ticked. i brought my computer into them on the 12th of december and had to go on vacation, and finally returned on the 30th of last night. So i've been waiting this a long time even though it was done long before i returned, but still this is what i get?

Oh well #$%* happens.

And i'm not taking it back to geek squad.

Why are you bothering installing aquamark in the first place? If you need to take it to the craptastic geek squad then you shouldn't be interested in benchmarks at all.

That doesn't answer my problem. I'm software inclined, i'm horrible when it comes to software. I can overclock properly and build computers, but i just can't do software.

I took it in and had them setup my raid because when i tried it, it wouldn't work.

in your BIOS you need to change some of the hard drive settings and it will load up. I forgot exactly what needs to be changed but I think it's the memory type or something, look for "LARGE" and change it from whatever it is to that. If that doesn't work try the other ones until it boots up. That will solve it.

IT WORKED, THANK YOU. I LOVE YOU!!!!

j/k, but really thank you

I know what i did and why it wouldn't boot. When i did that restart i went into the bios and selected "load optimized settings", f10 save, and when it restarted i got that error.

When i loaded the optimized difaults it turned the raid off, so i went in and turned it back on 🙂
