Windows won't load

I just built a new rig, and sometimes windows will not load. Here are my system specs- eVGA nf41 mobo, x2 3800, eVGA 7800gt, Maxtor diamondmax 10 300gb hdd, and 2gb ocz ram. I loaded the driver for the X2 a couple of days ago and it wasnt happening since then, but it just happened again. I tried to boot twice and I couldnt get past the windows loading screen (XP pro). The third time I tried to boot I clicked on the "boot with last known configurations that worked" option and it booted fine. I haven't changed anything since the last time it booted without a problem, so I don't know what's going on. I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Power supply brand/model? Something decent + powerful? Also, what version of OCZ and what voltage did you set it for?

I don't have the manual for your motherboard, so just go through the menus and look for it. You can try giving it a little more, 2.8 volts is within your warranty specs. Memtest is a good idea as a fact-finding step.

Also, if your system really has all six case fans hooked up, try unplugging them to reduce the 12-volt drain as another fact-finding test (run system with the case open instead). If you have a higher-quality PSU you could test with, that might be a good idea too.
