Okay I downloaded the detonators 23.12 that just came out and attempted to install them. I'm not sure what happened but when it asked me insert a disk with a file on it I just fogot to browse and select the folder I had unzippped the drivers to. Anyways I ended up kind of cancelling every file and no drivers were loaded at all. Then I tried to load the 23.11 drivers w/o rebooting and then rebooted after they were done loading...but now it just freezes whenever the windows 98 logo comes up and doesn't boot past it. I ran safe mode and tried to install the 23.11 drivers again but that didn't work...because when I do it just says "no NVIDIA Card is in the system". And in devices in system in control panel the picture next to the geforce under display adaptors now has a red X over it. What the heck happened and how can i fix it?

If you can boot, go to display properties from either the desktop or Control Panel, change your adapter to Standard PCI VGA adapter and reboot. Then run the detonator.exe file to install the new drivers for your GeForce.
