Windows wont boot with more than a Gig of DDR

Help..

I just got 2 512 sticks of DDR, to go with my current 256mb stick of DDR in My ASUS A7V266. It regtonizes all the ram in startup and BIOS, but it wont boot my WIN 98se.

Is there something I am doin wrong?
