I got a DFI Ut 250gb and 3000+ cpu

I installed windows and pc booted fine.

Then I installed the driver cd that came with mobo and rebooted.

The Xp home screen sat there and the loading bar would run for like 10 minutes, never got past it or went into windows.

Rebooted, started twith last known good config that worked properly.

Reapeated, with the same results.

I stuck a pci lan card in to get net access, because the built in ethernet wouldnt install.

So, should I just not use the nforce 3 driver cd and let it be? Or is their something I can do to update the mobo drivers?

I also have a 6800gt and I noticed at first it said, this dvice cannot start, but I installed 66.93 and it seems okay.

So how can I get these nforce 3 drivers to work?

Thanks in advance.

I recently built a system (EPoX NF3 250 Gb) and had similar issues.
Mine was cured by uninstalling the nVidia IDE drivers and rolling back to the standard ones.
