In XP when you save a image as wallpaper/desktop background, where is the file saved and with what name and extension?

It depends on the program you use to do that.

C:\Documents and Settings\(USERNAME)\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer


File name is

Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp

When you saved the file, where did you save it to?

Image was displayed in a Firefox window, right clicked and clicked "set as desktop background". Moving to a new PC next week and would like to take this background along, if I can find it.

Start -> Run, "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox", and it's named "Desktop Background.bmp"
