I don't get it

Where is the option for "typing 'linux' into the Search box"?
And I don't get it

What they're tying to say is that this has been discussed countless times, here and in other forums, and it always looks the same:
Reply1: I use Linux because I like x,y,z about it.
Reply2: I use Windows because I play games and Linux is teh suck for gaming
Reply3: I use Windows because I use x,y,z programs that aren't available for Linux
Reply4: #1, you just use Linux to be cool, I bet you're 14 and live in your mommys basement
Reply5: #2, I use WINE and play games just fine
Reply6: #5 my time is valuable, don't have time to mess with WINE
Reply7: #4, you're a fvcking idiot, Linux rocks! You just don't know how to use it lam3r!!!!1111

And so on...

Well in my situation I have to use Windows because the software which I use doesn't have linux versions.

If I were able to have a choice I'd probably still go for Windows - although it could be more of a familiarity issue. Things like stability and security I'm not really fussed about cos I make sure have an up to date virus scanner, with windows fully patched and don't visit any dodgy websites - ie I still always take the view that the level of security on your computer is down to the user and not the OS.
