Windows VPN Connection Problems

I leased a dedicated server from the UK for hosting purposes, and I setup Routing and Remote Access (RRAS) to configure as a VPN server and LAN routing. I have 6 IP's given to me (including one for the server), and the server IP is mapped to the NIC TCP/IP properties while the rest are not.

I setup a user and allow remote dial-in, but I get Error 721 when it tries to authenticate.

The weird thing is that if I'm connected to a Linux-based VPN using OpenVPN, it connects without a problem.

Any ideas?

from the same host? are you even allowed to just use a dedicated server for this type service? check your TOS...

have you coordinated with the host and are they letting through the necessary ports?

PPTP or L2TP? try a telnet x.x.x.x 1723, is it open or closed?
